Summary
Perform alterations, resizing, and restyling on merchandise sold in the store. Support fitters by assessing garment fit, alterability, and construction quality.
Responsibilities- Alter garments to meet quality standards, including adjusting seams, shoulders, sleeves, coats, linings, and pockets.
- Operate and maintain sewing equipment and inspect completed work for quality.
- Complete assigned alterations and follow instructions from supervisors and managers.
- Experience in tailoring or industrial sewing, with knowledge of garment styles and fabrics, is preferred.
- Ability to read English, follow instructions, and perform basic arithmetic.
