Lifting Up Westchester is looking for staff for their Samaritan House Women's Shelter in White Plains, NY. This role involves providing direct care, guidance, and supervision to residents during weekend overnight shifts from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma/GED and at least one year of related experience.
You will foster positive socialization among residents while assisting with daily routines and ensuring the safety of the shelter environment. Candidates should have sensitivity to the needs of vulnerable adults and some knowledge of domestic abuse and mental health issues.
