Project Engineer F-; Level 5

Job Description

We are Lockheed Martin. You will be a Project Engineer responsible for the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) F‑16/T‑50 Engineering program performance, cost, and schedule execution.

• Own overall engineering delivery for major programs, ensuring performance, cost, schedule, and long‑term reliability goals are met.
• Spot and handle risks early, identify technical problems, schedule and cost risks, and new opportunities; create and drive plans to address them.
• Lead large, cross‑functional teams to build integrated solutions and set the technical direction.
• Be the main technical contact for complex projects, quickly resolving issues and keeping senior leaders informed.
• Coordinate work across specialties; manage scope, dependencies, and integration points between different engineering groups to keep the project on track.
• Improve processes and mentor the team; follow existing program and engineering procedures and identify improvements that enable team efficiency and execution.
• Some travel will be required (foreign and/or domestic).

• Must be a U.S. citizen. Position requires special access clearance.
• 8+ years of engineering experience, Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• Earned Value Management experience.
• Secret security clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

• F‑16 or T‑50 Engineering experience.
• Project Management experience.
• Cost Account Manager experience.
• Experience with Agile Planning.
• Experience with JIRA, Tableau, and Confluence.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Annual base salary ranges from $122,900 to $216,660 in most states, and $141,300 to $244,835 in major metropolitan areas. The range is a general guideline and may be adjusted based on experience, education, and market considerations.
