Reefer Diesel Mechanic/Technician

Up to $32/hour depending on experience. 4 DAY Workweek. 10 Hour Shifts.

• Experience required in Thermo King or Carrier refrigeration units.
• Perform all levels of maintenance services, with a primary focus on refrigeration units such as Thermo King commercial refrigeration equipment for trucks and trailers.
• Test lines, components, and connections using electrical, mechanical and pneumatic test equipment.
• Read complex schematics associated with refrigeration equipment.
• Identify warrantable repairs and document orders.
• Provide additional support regarding preventative maintenance and tractor‑tire maintenance as required.
• Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications.
• Perform system repairs to include engines, hydraulic systems, tires, electrical and A/C.
• Work 2nd Shift, Wednesday through Saturday.

• Certification from a diesel mechanic trade school or a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Must have experience as a reefer or Thermo King/Carrier mechanic.
• Specialized training and experience in the overhaul of refrigeration components.
• CDL license Preferred

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulics.
• Own set of tools.
• The ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to pass pre‑employment drug screen.
