At Bayshore Dental, we are looking for a Dental Assistant eager to advance their skills under the supported mentorship of Dr. Patel, an industry leader. Schedule:
This is a full-time role:
- Monday: 7:40am - 5:00pm
- Tuesday: 7:40am - 6:00pm
- Wednesday: 7:10am - 4:30pm
- Thursday: 7:40am - 5:30pm
- Friday - Sunday: off
As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):
- Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
- Provide clinical assistance to Dr. Patel in patient care, learning evidence-based best practices from an industry leader and continuously honing your clinical skills in a supportive environment designed for professional development.
- Master existing and emerging dental technologies and clinical initiatives under Dr. Patel's expert guidance, positioning yourself as a skilled and adaptable clinician ready for career advancement.
- Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
- Develop a relationship with the patient.
- Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
- Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
- Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.
Required Qualifications:
- Passion for continuous learning and professional growth, with genuine interest in developing clinical skills under the mentorship of an industry leader
- High school diploma or GED.
- Other certifications as required by the state.
- Experience with Dental Software
- 2+ years of dental assisting experience, or demonstrated interest in pursuing professional development and clinical advancement
