Seasonal Registered Respiratory Therapist – 13‑week full‑time position located in Whitefish, MT. Requires a current Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license and National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) credentialed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Minimum two years of applicable respiratory therapy experience is required.
Seasonal Position Details- Full‑time schedule: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week.
- Variable shift structure with day, night, and weekend rotations.
- 15% seasonal differential (Premium).
- 401(k) eligible.
- Fitness center discount.
- Seasonal bonuses: $1,000 paid after 30 days, $1,000 after 60 days, and $2,000 upon completion of the assignment.
- Additional shift differential pay for nights and weekends.
- Advanced certification pay available.
- No health benefits provided.
- Current Montana RCP license.
- Current NBRC credentialed RRT.
- Minimum 2 years of applicable respiratory therapy experience.
- RQI (BLS) certification within 7 days of hire or before independent patient care.
- ALS (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
- NRP certification within one year of hire.
Specific Duties
- Provide respiratory therapy care to patients of all ages in assigned areas.
- Manage mechanical ventilation and non‑invasive ventilation modalities.
- Administer medications and utilize varied medical equipment.
- Document care using the electronic medical record system.
- Assist providers within the scope of respiratory practice as outlined by the competency program.
- Maintain professional accountability, competency, and peer review participation.
- Make scope‑of‑practice‑related judgments and decisions, ensuring quality documentation and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate collegially with staff members across units.
- Follow all policies and procedures related to respiratory therapy duties, patient care, and safety.
