Seasonal Registered Respiratory Therapist; RRT | Whitefish

Seasonal Registered Respiratory Therapist – 13‑week full‑time position located in Whitefish, MT. Requires a current Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license and National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) credentialed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Minimum two years of applicable respiratory therapy experience is required.

• Full‑time schedule: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week.
• Variable shift structure with day, night, and weekend rotations.
• 15% seasonal differential (Premium).

• Seasonal bonuses: $1,000 paid after 30 days, $1,000 after 60 days, and $2,000 upon completion of the assignment.

• Current Montana RCP license.
• Current NBRC credentialed RRT.
• Minimum 2 years of applicable respiratory therapy experience.
• RQI (BLS) certification within 7 days of hire or before independent patient care.
• ALS (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• NRP certification within one year of hire.

• Provide respiratory therapy care to patients of all ages in assigned areas.
• Manage mechanical ventilation and non‑invasive ventilation modalities.
• Administer medications and utilize varied medical equipment.
• Document care using the electronic medical record system.
• Assist providers within the scope of respiratory practice as outlined by the competency program.
• Maintain professional accountability, competency, and peer review participation.
• Make scope‑of‑practice‑related judgments and decisions, ensuring quality documentation and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate collegially with staff members across units.
• Follow all policies and procedures related to respiratory therapy duties, patient care, and safety.
