The Lodge is a 4‑star hotel located only 5 minutes from downtown Whitefish and 10 minutes from Whitefish Ski Resort. A Houseperson is responsible for the cleanliness of common areas in front and back of house, as well as the restocking and cleaning of restrooms both in the front and back of house. They also respond to radio calls from the front office and housekeeping team to deliver amenities to rooms (in‑room amenities, fresh linens, extra pillows, blankets, hangers, robes, slippers, etc.).

• Perform cleaning duties in all public areas and back‑of‑house areas
• Use houseman carts when cleaning restrooms as well as maintaining inventory of necessary supplies.
• Empty garbage, remove dirty linens and towels upon request.
• Always carry a radio and respond to any amenity delivery requests.
• Report necessary maintenance issues to Front Office so a work order is made.
• Responsible for cleaning the spa every evening after closure.
• Assist with housekeeping as needed for Daily Housekeeping Service for in‑house guests.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
• Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.

Requirements:

• Operating housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, mops, maid cart, etc.
• Ability and willingness to adhere to all Averill Hospitality policies and ensure departmental personnel compliance.
• Must maintain a positive influence in the community and positive relations with area vendors.

Standing, bending, stooping, and lifting weights up to and including 20 lbs. may be required. The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty‑four hours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business, and a hospitable service atmosphere must be always projected.
