Server, Grouse Mountain Lodge

This role is a Banquet Service Associate at Pursuit, with year-round full-time or part-time opportunities. The starting wage is $10.85 per hour plus tips. Candidates must secure their own accommodation; staff housing is not available.

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service during banquets, meetings, weddings, and special events.
• Set up and prepare event spaces according to specifications and service standards.
• Serve food and beverages for plated, buffet, reception-style, and other banquet functions.
• Monitor guest needs throughout events and respond promptly to requests.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-presented event and service areas.
• Assist with event setup, teardown, and resetting of banquet spaces.
• Work closely with banquet, culinary, and other hotel teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Support other Food & Beverage operations as needed.
• Be available for on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• 1+ years of serving experience in a restaurant, hotel, resort, banquet, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Previous banquet or event service experience is an asset.
• Strong guest service and communication skills with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to carry trays, plates, and glassware safely and confidently.
• Experience using POS systems is an asset.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
• Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and service excellence.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work an on-call schedule based on business demands, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
