, one of Montana's AAAFour Diamond resorts, is seeking a Hosts to work with our Food& Beverage Team $20 hourly + Tips.

Be the welcoming face of our lakefront restaurant. The Boat Club is a refined, low-lit restaurant overlooking surrounding mountain sand Whitefish Lake. You will set a tone and standard of upscale hospitality from the moment our guests reserve and arrive.

The Lodge is a 4-star hotel located only 5 minutes from downtown Whitefish and 10 minutes from Whitefish Ski Resort. • Maintaina cheerful, courteous disposition, and a neat professional image.
• Welcome guests upon arrival with enthusiastic engagement.
• Reservation management.
• Escort guest as soon as possible to appropriate table.
• Manage waiting guests, encouraging them to have a drink in the bar till their table is ready.
• Maintaina professional working relationship with employees and guests.
• Practice proper phone etiquette, and clear communication.
• Handle gift card transactions.
• Performs reservations call-backs.
• Maintain tidy and clean host/hostess area and foyer.
• Designate stable assignments.
• Escorts guest to assigned table. Make the guest feel welcome, maybe engage in abrief conversation. Do Not rush the guest and Do Not walk too fast for theguest.
• When sittingat the table, pull the chairs out for ladies and hand the menus to theguest. Do not place the menu on the table or the chair.
• Remember it is your job to control the flow of the restaurant. Keep calm andnotify the Manager if anything should arise.
• Notifies manager of unhappy guests.
• Inspect restrooms for cleanliness and call the front desk for cleaning.
• Bids farewell to departing guests.
• Performs assigned side work duties.
• Assists managers as directed.

• Abilityto use Open Table system.
• Abilityto stand and walk for 6-to-8-hour shifts.
• Abilityto work weekends, events, and holidays, as needed.
• Ableto hear guest order and requests amidst loud background noise.
• Maintain expected level of personal appearance and hygiene consistent with The Boat Club's for Front-of-House (FOH) image.
• May be required to assist service staff during peak periods, such as watering tables, clearing, and resetting tables, if needed.
• Ableto manage unsatisfactory guest experience.
