Banquet Captain, Grouse Mountain Lodge

This is a full-time, year-round position beginning September 2026.

Roles & Responsibilities Lead banquet team members during event setup, service, and teardown

Review and execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure events are delivered as planned

Coordinate event logistics and communicate timelines, expectations, and changes to the team Provide exceptional guest service and act as a point of contact during events

Monitor event execution to ensure quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction

Support food and beverage service as required

Maintain banquet spaces, equipment, and supplies to company standards

Identify and report safety, maintenance, or operational concerns

Assist with training, coaching, and supporting banquet team members

Collaborate with Conference Services, Culinary, and Operations teams to ensure successful event delivery

Support other hospitality operations as needed

Required

Skills & Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older1-3 years of banquet, restaurant, hotel, or event experience required

Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Experience working with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) preferred

Hospitality POS system experience preferred

Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence

Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and willingness to assist wherever needed
