Clinical Coordinator - Clinic (Full-time/Townsend)
Supports the Director of Clinic and Ancillary Services in leadership and management responsibilities, ensuring effective coordination of clinical and operational activities in rural healthcare delivery. Responsibilities include overseeing staff performance, patient care quality, regulatory compliance, and innovative patient care.
Shift and EmploymentShift: Day, Evening. Employment Status:
Full-Time (≥0.75). Hours per Pay Period: 80 hours every two weeks (Exempt). Starting Wage: $37.11 - 46.39 (DOE).
- Assist the Director of Clinic in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and workflows that support the clinic's mission of delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care. Provide coverage in the Director's absence.
- Supervise and mentor clinic staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Assist directly with patient care: take vitals, review medical histories, room patients, and ensure seamless patient flow.
- Coordinate and facilitate telehealth services, troubleshooting technical issues and supporting users.
- Monitor clinical performance metrics and lead quality improvement initiatives.
- Act as a resource for patients navigating health systems, including financial assistance, social services, and specialty referrals.
- Plan and execute emergency response protocols, including training staff in disaster preparedness in rural settings.
- Represent the clinic in community health programs, leading health education, screenings, and preventive care events.
- Coordinate immunization programs, such as seasonal flu clinics and COVID‑19 vaccine drives.
- Organize interdisciplinary communication to ensure continuity of care for patients needing specialty services.
- Lead or participate in community health needs assessments to identify health disparities and implement clinic programs addressing these gaps.
- Serve as a preceptor and mentor for nursing students and new hires.
- Support and model behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of conduct and service expectations; meet all mandatory requirements and maintain competency in all standards related to safety and performance.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or as needed.
- Education:
Four‑year Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent. - Experience:
Two years of clinical experience in an outpatient or rural healthcare setting; supervisory experience preferred. Familiarity with rural healthcare delivery highly desirable. - Certifications and Licenses:
Current RN license in Montana; additional certifications acceptable.
