** Shift:
** Day Shift – Variable Hours | Full-Time – 40 Hours At Logan Health, our Operating Room nurses are essential partners in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care. As an
** RN Surgical Services**, you’ll play a critical role in patient advocacy, surgical coordination, and team-based care – supporting patients through some of their most vulnerable moments while collaborating with skilled surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow perioperative professionals.

** What You’ll Do
** As an RN Surgical Services, you will:
* Develop, implement, and coordinate
** individualized, goal-directed nursing care
** using the nursing process
* Maintain
** high standards of patient safety and infection control
** in accordance with policy and procedure
* Accurately transcribe and implement
** verbal and written provider orders
*** Monitor, assess, and report
** changes in patients’ physical and mental condition
*** Anticipate patient needs and coordinate timely interventions during surgical procedures
* Document all patient encounters clearly and thoroughly in accordance with organizational standards
* Provide
** education and support
** to patients and families regarding surgical care and recovery
* Remain calm and effective during changing workloads, prioritizing care and seeking assistance when appropriate
* Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
* Maintain
** regular and reliable attendance
** as scheduled by department leadership
** Required Qualifications
*** Current
** Montana RN license
** or
** multi-state compact license
** with authorization to practice in Montana
* ** 1+ year(s) of RN experience
** in a similar medical setting (hospital, clinic, or physician office)
* ** Healthcare Provider CPR and/or BLS certification**, as required by service line
* Strong working knowledge of:  + Professional nursing theory and standards of practice  + Medical terminology  + Infection control procedures and universal precautions  + HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations  + OSHA rules and regulations
* Excellent organizational, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism and diplomacy
* Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems
** Preferred Qualifications**
* ** BSN degree**
* ** 2+ years of RN experience
** in a similar medical setting (hospital, clinic, or physician office)
* Prior experience in the
** Operating Room or surgical services
*** Additional certifications relevant to perioperative nursing or assigned specialty area
