The OpportunityThis is more than a sales job—it’s a relationship‑building, problem‑solving, impact‑making role. You’ll work directly with district and state‑level leaders to understand their needs and connect them with 806’s software and professional learning solutions that make their schools, districts and state departments run smoother and their people shine brighter. You’ll have the freedom to own your territory and meet face‑to‑face with district and state department leaders who want better systems to enhance compliance and school planning that move the needle for schools.
WhatYou’ll Do (Duties and Responsibilities)
- Build meaningful partnerships with district leaders in multiple departments and at each state's Department of Education within the designated territory.
- Help school districts strengthen compliance work and their school improvement planning through our suite of innovative solutions.
- Conduct in‑person and virtual demos that help districts visualize success.
- Hit the open road calling on central offices, "service centers", and state departments within your designed territory.
- Manage your territory from first contact to close.
- Attend regional and national conferences to represent the 806 brand.
- Combine your educator instincts with a business mindset.
- Have 3+ years of experience in education as a central office administrator, or have also been in a state level position.
- You are currently in a district or state leadership position. You probably have existing relationships at other districts (superintendents, assistant superintendents, federal programs directors, curriculum & instruction leaders, human resources, finance departments, etc.).
- District Leadership
Experience:
Prior leadership experience within a California K-12 school district central office, preferably in a cabinet level position with a focus on school improvement initiatives, federal programs, or special education. - Bachelor's Degree (Required).
- Sales: 2 years (a Plus).
- Education administration: 3 years (Preferred).
- Love connecting with people and building relationships that last.

- Are eager to learn new skills, adapt to challenges, and see the impact of your work every day.
- Live in the assigned territory (multi‑state region) and are open to 50% travel.
- Can work autonomously.
- Previous K-12 sales experience is a bonus. It is not an expectation.
