The Automotive Sales Professional engages customers on the dealership lot, at company-sponsored events, or via BDC leads to determine their vehicle needs and desires. Using excellent customer satisfaction and sales skills, sales professionals sell vehicles. This position requires punctual, consistent, and regular attendance.

• Acts as a goodwill ambassador for the dealership by promoting professionalism and displaying excellent customer satisfaction skills.
• Approaches and assists new customers that enter the dealership lot.
• Determines the needs of the customer by listening and asking questions.
• Performs walk‑around with customers and demonstrates features of suitable automobiles.
• Masters the features on all vehicles.
• Ensures the customer understands the vehicle’s operating features, warranty and paperwork.
• Completes franchise required training and attends sales meetings.
• Meets monthly sales goals.
• Performs all duties in a safe manner following all company safety guidelines and policies.
• Performs other duties as requested or required.

Two years in a sales environment is preferred. Good communication, negotiation, multi‑tasking, and computer skills are required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Candidate must be able to move about the complex in all weather conditions. Extended working hours may be required, including nights or weekends.

Employees may be required to:

• Frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and reach.
• Use hands and fingers to handle, feel, grasp, or operate tools, equipment, and office machinery.
• Occasionally climb, balance, crouch, or crawl.
• Lift, carry, push, and/or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain physical stamina and mobility throughout scheduled shifts.
• Work in various indoor and/or outdoor environments depending on business needs.
• Perform repetitive motions and remain in stationary positions for extended periods as required by the job.

$50,000 to $100,000 plus.
