Construction - Billboard Installer

Description

We are looking for an Operations crew member in Billings, Montana to install and maintain billboards for brands in the area. The role is full‑time, entry‑level, and requires working independently while effectively managing your own schedule.

• Remove and hang flexes and vinyls from billboards; cut, prepare, and install copies on Tri‑Visions.
• Build and install extensions on billboards; cut brush/weeds, conduct storm damage repairs, and perform minor electrical repairs.
• Use power and hand tools while adhering to safety regulations.
• Attend installer and construction safety meetings as required.
• Maintain operation vehicles, construction tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Take completion photos to document installations.

• Ability to work alone and manage your own work schedule.
• Willingness to work at heights up to 100‑ft (preferred up to 200‑ft).
• Strong communication skills; able to speak and read English fluently.
• Basic computer skills, including Internet navigation and Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Ability to work from ladders and carry a ladder or other tools to the worksite from vehicle.
• Working knowledge of electrical and fabrication techniques.
• Skill in reading technical documents such as blueprints and diagrams.
• General knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• Ability to safely use construction equipment and climb heights.
• Skill in documenting installations through photographs and written logs.
• Practical application of mathematics related to construction and operations tasks.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Completion of OSHA 10‑hour Construction course.
• CDL and Non‑CDL licenses are a plus, but not required.
• Previous experience working at heights up to 200‑ft. preferred.
• Construction and/or billboard installation experience a plus.

• Monday‑Friday, 8‑10‑hour day schedule.
• Hourly rate $20.00‑$21.00 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

• Primary work outdoors in adverse weather; ability to climb up to 200‑ft.
• Heavy lifting up to 100 lb, extensive bending, pushing, reaching, and walking.
• Less than 50‑% sitting, frequent standing, stooping, and talking.
• Nights spent away from home traveling less than 10‑%.
• On‑call shifts may be required.
