School Occupational Therapist | Schnecksville

Immediate openings are available for dedicated Occupational Therapists to provide services in regional schools for the  school year (with the assignment likely running until June 11, 2027, following the local school calendar). This is a 35-hour/week position designed to make a lasting impact on students with diverse needs.

Qualifications &

Experience:

• Hold an active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license
• Have an Educational Specialist I or II Certificate
• Able to present proof of PA OT licensure and NBCOT certification
• Available for a full-time, school-day schedule (up to 35 hours/week)
• Prior experience in school settings, pediatrics, or special education highly desired
• Confident working with students with a wide range of disabilities and support requirements
• Willing and able to work in Carbon or Lehigh County as needed by the district
• Capable of attending an in-person interview during the hiring process

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy interventions to students per IEP goals
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create and monitor student plans
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Adapt strategies and materials to meet student needs in evolving school situations
• Comply with all district, state, and federal guidelines for school-based OT services
