Overview

Sr. Financial Advisor – Lehigh Valley, PA

We are looking for a team leader who will manage select client relationships while supporting colleagues who oversee additional client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support client relationships, building deep relationships and coordinating the implementation and ongoing management of financial plans.
  • Develop customized comprehensive financial plans focused on cash flow, tax, investment strategy, retirement planning, estate planning, executive compensation, and risk management.
  • Administer and coordinate ongoing client needs, including responding to inquiries, completing research and tasks, taking meeting and call notes, and communicating with team members.
  • Collaborate with the investment team to provide input on client‑specific circumstances and manage client portfolios, including tax‑loss harvesting.
  • Lead client meetings with relevant team members and facilitate communication and cooperation among departments.
  • Foster new business development opportunities to help the firm grow and serve as a team leader, mentoring and coaching other team members.
  • Maintain relationships with 60–100 client families, ensuring organization, attention to detail, and reliable follow‑through on short‑term and long‑term planning items.
  • Multitask effectively, handling multiple priorities and staying organized under pressure.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • CFP or CFA certification
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in wealth management or financial services
  • Coaching and/or leadership experience with a team of advisors (desirable)
Skills & Competencies
  • Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Proficient in analyzing client financial priorities, preparing recommendations, and delivering advice
  • Thorough understanding of investment concepts and comfortable communicating strategies
  • Highly proficient in financial planning software and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player, able to work well with all levels of the firm and clients
  • Adaptability and flexibility; ability to work under pressure and beyond standard hours when needed
  • Personable, warm, engaging with a client‑first attitude
  • Occasional travel may be required
