Location: North Whitehall Township

Embark on a rewarding journey supporting the communication needs of young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow specializing in preschool early intervention. This contract position offers the chance to work across Carbon or Lehigh Counties providing itinerant services to children in a variety of educational settings. Flexibility is key, as your assignment may shift to support students ranging from PreK to 12th grade over the course of the school year.

Expect to collaborate with families and educational professionals, tailoring interventions that create meaningful outcomes for students.

Key Qualifications &

Experience:
  • Active provisional or temporary Pennsylvania SLP license required
  • Experience or strong interest in working within preschool or early intervention settings
  • Willingness to serve a diverse caseload and travel within Carbon or Lehigh County
  • Ability to adapt to assignments with school-aged populations (PreK 12) as needs change
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to providing in-person services throughout the assignment
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver skilled speech-language therapy services to preschool-aged children, supporting their development across multiple environments
  • Travel to various facilities within Carbon and Lehigh Counties, adapting to changing student needs
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with all regulations
  • Collaborate closely with parents/caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP goals and progress reports

The position offers the security of a 35-hour work week and the opportunity to gain valuable hands‑on experience in early intervention and school-based practice. With a year‑round calendar, you'll play a vital role in supporting childrens growth throughout the academic year.
