Position: Logistics Management Specialist with Security Clearance
Duties Help
* Represent DLA by providing logistical assistance/technical expertise to U.S. military activities and U.S. civil agencies receiving logistical support/services from DLA.
* Provide a full range of enterprise support of all DLA Supply classes, a specialization of Class IX, and support services to the customer element.
* Serve as the single weapon system level point of contact for customer's concerns and issues and interface with appropriate supply chain owners and logistics service providers across the enterprise to resolve these concerns and issues.
* Coordinate the multiple initiatives/efforts to ensure established Enterprise levels of customer support are met.
* Serve as a focal point for DLA in the identification of Logistics problems relating to DLA logistics supplies or services.
* Advocate for weapon system investment and acquisition strategies and depot support programs. Requirements Help Conditions of employment

Experience:

One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector.

Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
* Performing analysis and metric reviews of logistics systems' performance.
* Analyzing logistics support utilizing military service and automated systems and tools.
* Supporting military service weapons systems and other logistics programs.
* Providing life cycle weapons systems support.
* Navigating through the DLA Enterprise and Service organizational entities to arrive at best value solutions for military service requirements. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
