Role: CDLA Shuttle Driver responsible for transporting trailers and freight between facilities and customer yards within the region. Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Adhere to all DOT and safety standards established by the company.
- Manage logs and complete basic paperwork accurately.
- Coordinate with dispatch to maintain on-time shuttle schedules.
- Support the company’s large-scale food distribution network.
- Interact with operations teams and occasionally with customers.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and DOT regulations.
- Ability to perform inspections and manage documentation.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
