In this role, you will lead and support the planning and execution of various fisheries and aquatic assessment projects across Canada. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will mentor junior scientists while contributing to high-quality deliverables and engaging industry stakeholders. Your background in statistical analysis and aquatic assessments will be pivotal in ensuring project success and compliance with Fisheries Act requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead fisheries and aquatic assessment project planning
• Conduct detailed assessments on fish habitats and communities
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders on multi-disciplinary projects
• Mentor junior members and facilitate knowledge sharing
• Represent Trinity in the scientific community through conferences
Requirements:
• Advanced degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in aquatic sciences
• Professional designation or eligibility for registration
• Strong statistical analysis skills
• Experience designing baseline assessment programs
