Position: Aquatic Scientist Role in Northern

This role invites you to lead projects that assess fish habitats and communities while contributing valuable insights to multi-disciplinary teams. With your advanced degree and over six years of relevant experience, you'll help mentor newcomers and ensure high-quality reporting. Your understanding of Canadian freshwater species and statistical analysis will be key to meeting project goals and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead planning and field implementation of aquatic assessments

• Conduct assessments on fish health and community structure

• Collaborate with First Nations and governmental entities

• Mentor junior team members in the field and data interpretation

• Represent Trinity at scientific conferences with high-quality outputs

Requirements:

• Relevant advanced degree; experience in aquatic sciences

• 6+ years of hands-on field and assessment experience

• Registration eligibility for professional designation

• Solid knowledge of statistical analysis techniques

• Willingness to travel and work under various conditions
