As a Managing Technical Consultant, Fisheries Biologist, you'll deliver multimillion-dollar projects influencing aquatic resource management. Your expertise will support mining and energy sectors to protect aquatic ecosystems. Collaboration with experts in hydrology and aquatic science is key to solving sustainability challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and lead fish habitat field programs across Canada
• Support fisheries offsetting and compensation program planning
• Analyze and interpret fish biology and habitat data
• Prepare technical documents including assessments and reports
• Mentor junior biologists and field technicians
Requirements:
•
B.Sc. in Fisheries Biology or relevant discipline
• 4+ years of consulting experience in aquatic programs
• Registered Professional Biologist designation eligibility
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
