This position is perfect for an experienced aquatic scientist who thrives in a collaborative environment. You will lead field programs, assess fish habitats, and contribute to multidisciplinary projects across Canada. Your expertise will help clients navigate regulatory requirements while enhancing healthy aquatic ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead fisheries and aquatic assessment projects across Canada
• Plan aquatic field programs with extensive sampling
• Conduct fish community and habitat assessments
• Analyze data and prepare technical reports
• Mentor junior scientists and enhance team skills
Requirements:
• Advanced degree in Biology or Aquatic Sciences
• Minimum 6 years in fisheries and aquatic science
• R.P.Bio. certification or eligibility
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Willing to travel to remote project sites
