This role is pivotal for leading the planning and implementation of various aquatic assessment projects, ensuring scientifically informed decisions for fish habitat and community health. You will work with a multidisciplinary team and possess the opportunity to mentor and support junior staff. Your expertise will contribute significantly to collaborative projects with government agencies and First Nations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement fisheries and aquatic assessments

• Assess fish habitats and community health

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders

• Provide mentorship to junior aquatic scientists

• Deliver presentations and engage in industry events

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in a related discipline

• P.Bio. designation or eligibility

• At least 6 years of relevant work experience

• Proficient in statistical analysis and data integrity

• Familiarity with Canadian freshwater fish species
