As a senior fisheries professional with ERM, you will spearhead strategic initiatives that drive fisheries and aquatic programs tied to significant mining and energy projects. This full-time role offers hybrid work options from major cities, including Whitehorse and Toronto. Leverage your expertise to deliver complex projects while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on environmental sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and lead fish habitat assessment programs
• Implement fisheries offsetting and monitoring plans
• Analyze and interpret aquatic biology data
• Prepare technical documents for project compliance
• Mentor junior biologists in field programs
Requirements:
•
B.Sc. in Fisheries Biology or relevant field
• 4+ years of consulting experience in aquatic biology
• Strong communication skills for technical reporting
• Knowledge of regulations in mining and oil & gas
• Valid driver's license for extensive travel
