Launch your geophysics career with Tetra Tech as a Junior Geophysicist in Whitehorse, YK. Engage in fieldwork to support significant geophysical projects throughout Yukon and Northern Canada.
This full-time position requires 2-6 years of near-surface geophysics experience. You will engage in various aspects of geophysical data collection, including seismic methods, troubleshooting, and project planning. Your field and office-based work will make a meaningful impact across remote project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support diverse geophysical projects during all project phases
• Plan and lead geophysical data collection activities
• Perform field troubleshooting and maintain equipment
• Process and interpret collected geophysical data
• Collaborate closely with team members to meet deadlines
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics or related field
• 2–6 years near-surface geophysical experience
• Eligible for registration as a Geophysicist-in-Training
• Strong technical knowledge of geophysical methods
• Ability to travel for field assignments
