Position: Inspector for Fuel Oil and Plumbing Systems
Become a key player with the Building Safety and Standards Branch in Yukon as a Fuel Oil and Plumbing System Inspector. Your skills will ensure safe building practices through comprehensive inspections.

In this role, you will report directly to the Chief Building Inspector and conduct inspections focused on fuel oil installations and plumbing projects. You'll be responsible for evaluating construction plans, issuing permits, and carrying out on-site evaluations to maintain safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect fuel oil installations for safety compliance

• Analyze and approve construction plans and permits

• Conduct site inspections on regulatory compliance

• Collaborate with contractors and engineers on projects

• Identify and mitigate workplace hazards during inspections

Requirements:

• Journeyperson status with an interprovincial Red Seal in your field

• Experience in oil heating systems and installations

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence

• Excellent communication and teamwork ability

• Ability to work in various challenging environments
