Interior Painter

Job Description

As an Interior Painter on our drywall team, you will be responsible for preparing and painting drywall surfaces to a professional standard. You will work closely with our installers and finishers to ensure smooth, clean, and precise finishes that meet project specifications.

• Prepare drywall surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and repairing minor imperfections
• Apply paint, primer, and other finishes to interior walls and ceilings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace
  
  Collaborate with the drywall team to meet project deadlines and quality standards
• Touch up and correct paint imperfections as needed

• Proven experience as a construction painter, preferably with drywall
• Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials
• Ability to read and follow project plans and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel and lift materials
• Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Valid driver's license is an asset, especially for jobs across Whitehorse and surrounding areas

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
