Drywall Finishing Specialist

Elevate your career as a Drywall Finishing Specialist in Whitehorse, YT with a salary of $30.00/hour in a permanent, full-time role. This position offers direct involvement in drywall applications.

You will execute work by interpreting blueprints, supervising up to two others, and applying and leveling compounds and plaster for seamless finishes. Essential duties include measuring and cutting drywall sheets while ensuring quality through every step. You'll contribute to creating durable and aesthetically pleasing interiors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and determine work requirements

• Oversee the work of 1 to 2 assistants

• Apply coats of plaster and compound accurately

• Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets efficiently

• Tape and embed joints smoothly for finish quality

Requirements:

• First Aid Certificate mandatory

• Residency in Canada is necessary

• Experience in drywall finishing and installation is required

• Tools must be provided by the applicant

• Work conducted solely on-site in Whitehorse
