Chimney Maintenance Worker at KDFN

Join Kwanlin Dün First Nation as a Chimney Maintenance Worker, focusing on wood-burning appliance inspection and cleaning in homes. You'll contribute to various maintenance activities during the off-season.

Reporting to the HVAC Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and functionality of chimney services amid KDFN's community. Ideal candidates will have experience in general labor, construction, or maintenance, alongside the ability to work with tools and wledge of KDFN history will enhance your success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain wood-burning appliances in homes

• Perform cleaning tasks and ensure functionality

• Support general labor tasks during off-season

• Utilize hand and power tools efficiently

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:

• Grade 10 education or equivalent

• Previous experience in maintenance or labor

• Ability to work at heights using ladders/scaffolding

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Successful completion of safety training
