KDFN Chimney Services Worker

Become a part of Kwanlin Dün First Nation as a Chimney Services Worker, dedicated to the maintenance and cleaning of wood-burning appliances. This role also involves supporting general maintenance out of season.

As a report to the HVAC Supervisor, you'll ensure the safety of chimney functions in KDFN homes. We seek candidates with experience in maintenance or construction tasks, who can effectively use tools and follow precise safety instructions. Familiarity with KDFN culture is a key asset for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of wood-burning appliances

• Perform necessary cleaning and maintenance duties

• Assist in general labor during the off-season

• Operate various hand and power tools safely

• Follow established safety protocols

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 10 or higher education/experience

• General labor experience preferred

• Experience with ladders or working at heights

• Class 5 driver's license required

• Completion of specialized safety training
