Maintenance Technician Electrician

Join ATCO Frontec as a Maintenance Technician in Whitehorse, YT, responsible for critical maintenance tasks with an emphasis on electrical systems and plumbing. If you're experienced and certified, we want you on our team.

As a key member of our RP North department, you'll perform preventative and corrective maintenance, inspections, and installation of various systems. We seek a professional with Red Seal Certification in Electrical or Plumber/Gasfitter fields, coupled with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.

Your role will involve maintaining operational standards, supporting emergency responses, and contributing to our Preventative Maintenance program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance services with limited supervision

• Perform timely equipment repairs and inspections

• Ensure all certifications are up to date

• Maintain daily equipment and meter logs

• Respond to emergency call outs as scheduled

Requirements:

• Red Seal Certification in Electrical or Plumber/Gasfitter

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required

• Strong communication skills for team collaboration

• Ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
