Position: Skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic Role

This full-time, on-site role involves performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance while adhering to Occupational Health & Safety regulations. You will be an integral part of the maintenance team, responsible for maintaining buses and ensuring they are roadworthy through expert diagnosis and repairs. Your expertise will enable timely repairs, thus improving overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and diagnose mechanic issues using diagnostic equipment

• Conduct road-side service and repairs as needed

• Adjust and repair bus components to uphold operational standards

• Move and operate buses to assess mechanical failures

• Maintain accurate service records and documentation

Requirements:

• Must be a licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic, Red Seal preferred

• 2-5 years experience in related fields

• Diesel and school bus repair experience desirable

• Must possess a valid driver's license

• Willing to undertake Yukon licensing exam for safety inspections
