This opportunity would suit an experienced Solar PV Electrician, Lead Installer or existing Installation Manager looking to take greater responsibility for installation teams, site standards and project delivery.
About the roleYou’ll help organise, lead and oversee Solar PV and battery storage installations, working closely with electricians, roofing teams, subcontractors and the operations team.
The work will cover domestic properties and commercial sites
, providing exposure to different installation types and project requirements. The company's published installation adverts also describe work across residential and commercial properties. Indeed
You’ll lead by example, support the installation teams and help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.
Management and hands‑on installation for the first 3–6 monthsFor the first three to six months, this will be a hybrid role combining installation management with hands‑on electrical installation work. This refers to a mix of responsibilities, not home working.
During this initial period, you’ll remain actively involved on the tools while taking responsibility for coordinating installations, supporting the team and overseeing site delivery.
This will allow you to learn the company’s processes, establish yourself within the team and build further practical experience on commercial installations before progressing towards a more management‑focused position.
Strong domestic Solar PV experience is welcome. Previous commercial experience would be advantageous, but candidates with a solid technical background and the potential to develop into the role will also be considered.
The balance between installation work and management will develop in line with your experience, progress and project requirements. You must be comfortable joining in a practical, site‑based leadership role rather than expecting to move completely off the tools from day one.
