As a Booking Clerk and Unit Clerk, you will assist in unit operations while coordinating vital outpatient bookings. Your responsibilities encompass maintaining patient records, handling schedules, and ensuring efficient communication among staff. Engage with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage patient records and transfer data accurately

• Transcribe physician orders and maintain care lists

• Update and distribute outpatient OR slates using computerized systems

• Schedule diagnostic appointment activities for patients

• Assist with payroll records and staff availability

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 and Nursing Unit Clerk program

• Minimum one year of recent experience in healthcare

• Proficient typing speed of 40 words per minute

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to organize work and handle various responsibilities
