Business Development Associate — you will work with an Advisor to support growth through prospecting and developing new client relationships.

• Create and strengthen prospecting relationships by developing business development campaigns such as coordinating seminars and drafting print & electronic media campaigns.
• Build new relationships via client referrals, lead lists, and cold calling to add to the prospecting list.
• Prepare client proposals, investment recommendations, and/or service agreements.
• Track prospects through the client management system.
• Facilitate account opening by gathering information and required documentation.
• Work with the Advisor and Total Wealth Specialists to deepen client relationships through total wealth planning.

• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Self-motivation and drive to exceed goals
• Experience in the securities industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management
• Exceptional client service skills, providing a professional and respectful experience
• Approval as an Investment Representative (IR) or Registered Representative (RR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO)
