AboutThe Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a human resources professional who thrives on making a tangible difference in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
In this role,you’llsupport both team members and leaders across Evergreen Care, our long-term care community in White Rock, BC, providing excellent service and advice, helping create a workplace where people feel supported, respected, and empowered to do their best work.
As a trusted advisor, you will coach and guide leadersthroughteam member performanceandlabourrelations issues, recruitment, workplace health and safety,and disability management, always handling sensitive matters with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
You will implement local people and cultureprograms that strengthen collaboration, wellbeing, andteamengagement across the community.
You’llsupport leaders todrive meaningful change and support collaborative relationships, fostering a healthy and respectful culture and building team resilience and wellbeing.
This positionservesourlong-termcare community in White Rock,British Columbia,employing approximately 400 team members,working on site aspartof a beautiful campus in aserene coastal setting with a welcoming, close-knit feel.
The roleisfull-time (37.5 hours per week).
- Build strong, trustingcollaborative working relationships.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and values-driven workplace culture rooted in Baptist Housing’s mission and values.
- Provideexpertguidance and coaching onlabourrelations, performance management, disability management, and recruitment.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, supporting them through complex and sensitive matters. - Drive engagement initiatives andsupportleadershipdevelopment efforts that strengthen team effectiveness and satisfaction.

- Minimumfouryears’human resourcesexperienceina unionenvironment.
Experience in healthcare or seniorslivingan asset. - Bachelor’s degree in human resources,business administration, ora relatedfieldrequired.
CPHR designation is an asset.
Equivalent education and experience will be considered. - Proven ability to develop healthy, collaborative relationships andfoster a positive, supportive, and collaborative culture.
- Confidentnavigatingchanging prioritiesamidst a dynamicandhigh volumeworkenvironment.
Strong timeand project management skillsessential. - Demonstrated organizationalskilland attention to detail.
- Effectivecritical thinkerandproblem-solver withasolutions-focused mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with awarm,professional and approachable demeanor.
- Demonstrated experience inlabourrelations.
Experience with master collective healthcarebargainingagreements (NBA, FBA) anasset.
We offera startingannualsalaryin the range of $70,000 to $75,000, along with a comprehensive and people-first benefits package, including:
