Children and Youth Program Coordinator

Engage with young minds at The Salvation Army as a Children and Youth Program Coordinator. Oversee spiritual growth and community outreach while managing diverse youth-focused initiatives.

This part-time role based at the White Rock Church invites you to shape the lives of children and youth through faith-based programming. You will lead activities such as youth groups, Sunday School, and Summer Day Camps while fostering connections between community youth and church programs. Prior experience in mentoring and enhancing spiritual formation is ideal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and facilitate weekly youth group gatherings

• Coordinate volunteers for program execution

• Oversee annual Summer Day Camp and related activities

• Develop independent spiritual habits through mentorship

• Handle program administration and reporting duties

Requirements:

• Minimum one year working with children and youth

• Strong program facilitation and public speaking skills

• Experience with faith-based curricula is a plus

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
