Children and Youth Program Leader

Take the lead in shaping youth and children’s spiritual journeys with The Salvation Army at White Rock. This role focuses on program development, volunteer coordination, and mentorship for impactful faith-based initiatives.

As the Children and Youth Worker, you will coordinate various ministries at White Rock Church. This position emphasizes spiritual guidance, program innovation, and volunteer management. Your work will focus on youth groups, Sunday Schools, and community outreach initiatives, fostering spiritual growth and engagement in youth activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide mentorship and spiritual guidance to youth and children

• Develop and oversee programs for grades 8-12 in the community

• Coordinate Summer Day Camp and other seasonal activities

• Lead weekly Senior Youth Group gatherings for spiritual formation

• Support church-wide events and community outreach programs

Requirements:

• Experience in youth mentorship or ministry

• Strong organizational and leadership skills

• Ability to engage and recruit volunteers effectively

• Familiarity with program development and evaluation

• Commitment to The Salvation Army’s mission and values
