Faith- Youth Coordinator

Position: Faith-Based Youth Coordinator Role
Shape the future of youth at The Salvation Army as a Faith-Based Youth Coordinator. Your work will directly impact spiritual formation and community youth interactions.

This part-time position at the White Rock Church encompasses overseeing diverse programs tailored for children and youth aged 8-12. Focus on spiritual guidance and community outreach while coordinating volunteer efforts. Strong communication and crisis management skills are key to supporting the needs of diverse youth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee weekly and seasonal youth programming

• Coordinate and train volunteers for youth events

• Manage logistics for Summer Day Camp and other initiatives

• Assist youth in developing independent faith practices

• Conduct administrative tasks related to programming

Requirements:

• One year of experience working with youth required

• Leadership skills in program planning and delivery

• Experience with faith-based educational curricula is an asset

• Knowledge of social media and computer software tools

• Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License
