About the RoleYou will be responsible for driving sales growth across a territory covering the Greater Vancouver Region (north of the Fraser River) and Vancouver Island. The role focuses on developing new business opportunities, growing existing accounts, and partnering with customers to deliver solutions that improve productivity and performance.
What You’ll Do- Sell 's labeling, coding, and marking equipment and solutions within the assigned territory.
- Develop new business opportunities and expand relationships with existing customers.
- Increase consumables sales through Pro Mach-installed equipment.
- Partner with Service and Aftermarket teams to promote service and support agreements.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular account management activities.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage opportunities, sales activities, and forecasts.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations within company guidelines.
- Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and solution consultations.
- Stay current on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Post‑secondary education in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably selling industrial, packaging, automation, or capital equipment solutions.
- Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing customer accounts.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand customer challenges and recommend value‑based solutions.
- Knowledge of packaging, manufacturing, food and beverage, consumer goods, or related industries is considered an asset.
- Experience using Salesforce CRM and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to work independently while effectively managing a large geographic territory.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and ability to travel locally approximately 50% of the time.
- Ability to travel to the U.S. as required.
- Total compensation up to $150,000, comprised of base salary plus commission.
