This position calls for a skilled technician with a comprehensive background in vehicle repairs, particularly with heavy-duty and automotive equipment. You will utilize your welding abilities and knowledge of safety procedures to maintain a fleet that includes fire trucks and solid waste collection vehicles. Your collaboration with various teams will enhance service quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and overhaul light and heavy-duty vehicles

• Utilize welding techniques like Stick and MIG for repairs

• Inspect vehicles for compliance with safety standards

• Operate various small and large equipment

• Work cooperatively in a team-focused environment

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 with technical courses

• Commercial Vehicle Inspection certification

• Journeyman experience in mechanical trade

• Class 3 driver’s license with air-brake endorsement

• Comprehensive tool and safety knowledge
