Sr. Accountant

Sr. Accountant - Whitewater, WI

Environment: Fast-moving, growth-oriented, hands-on accounting team.

The Sr. Accountant will play a key role in core accounting operations with a strong emphasis on cost accounting, month-end close, and general ledger ownership. This person will be a critical contributor to an evolving finance function and must bring a growth mindset to keep pace with a dynamic, rapidly scaling organization.

• Lead and support cost accounting activities, including inventory analysis, standard cost updates, and variance review.
• Own key components of the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with strong attention to detail.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Partner cross-functionally to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Assist with audits, reporting, and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong cost accounting background.
• Proven experience with month-end close and general ledger management.
• Solid understanding of GAAP.
• Growth mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
• Software:
  Net Suite (preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, strong Excel skills.
• Background:
  Ideally someone with a blend of public accounting and corporate accounting experience.
