Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

• Assist with compiling monthly and year-end financial statements

• Gather monthly sales tax data, review for accuracy, and process payments

• Prepare month-end journal entries and support month-end close tasks

• Work on ad hoc accounting projects, including streamlining Sage processes and improving inventory controls

• Support general accounting operations in a full-charge capacity

• Assist with job costing as needed
Qualifications of the Staff Accountant:

• Strong full-charge accounting experience with month-end responsibility

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

• Knowledge of job costing is a plus
