**** Attention:
** The Department of Mathematics in the College of Letters and Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a one-year full-time Academic Staff Lecturer in Mathematics, starting Fall 2026 for the 2026-27 academic year. Teaching assignments will be primarily courses below the calculus level, including remedial and co-requisite support courses.

** Responsibilities:
** Full-time teaching responsibility consists of teaching twenty-seven credits of undergraduate mathematics courses per year. Instructors in the Department of Mathematics at UW-W are expected to teach in person and participate in professional developmental activities.
** Department Information:
** The UW-Whitewater Department of Mathematics is one of fifteen departments in the College of Letters and Sciences. The college offers more than sixty majors, minors, and nine pre-professional programs. More information about the college can be found at .The Department of Mathematics offers a general mathematics major as well as a mathematics major with emphasis in one of three areas: actuarial science, secondary education, or statistics.

** Well-qualified candidates can expect a minimum starting 9-month salary of $50,000 commensurate with the candidate's education, related experience, and qualifications.

*** Master’s Degree in Mathematics or in a related field.
* 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics.

*** Strong commitment to teaching. Preference will be given to those who present evidence of successful classroom teaching experiences in mathematics.
