**** Attention:
** The Department of Computer Science in the College of Letters and Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a full-time Lecturer in Computer Science for the 2026-27 academic year, beginning August 2026. Teaching assignments will include Data Structures along with other courses in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence majors.

** Responsibilities**:

Full-time teaching responsibilities include teaching 27 credits of undergraduate coursework per year  within the Department of Computer Science, including two sections per semester of our Data Structures course. Instructors in the Department of Computer Science at UW-Whitewater may be expected to teach in a variety of formats, including in-person, online, and/or hybrid formats, or courses in the evenings.

** Department Information**:

The Department of Computer Science ( https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). ) is housed in the College of Letters and Sciences ( https:// ). The department supports nearly 400 undergraduate majors in computer science and cybersecurity, and we are launching a new major in artificial intelligence in the fall of 2026. Graduate programs supported by the department include Master of Science programs in computer science (on-campus and online) and in cybersecurity (online).

The department fosters a collegial relationship among faculty and staff, who provide students with hands-on learning opportunities and actively engage in research and education grants funded by agencies such as the National Science Foundation, the Office of Naval Research, and the U.S. Department of Labor.
