Lecturer – Computer Sciences – College of Letters and Sciences

University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, Whitewater, WI. Full‑time, 9‑month fixed‑term appointment for the 2026-27 academic year, beginning August 2026.

• Teach 27 credits of undergraduate coursework per year, including two sections per semester of the Data Structures course.
• Instruction may be delivered in‑person, online, hybrid, or evening formats.
• Facilitate classroom, online, and laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance.
• Develop instructional design and curriculum relevant to the courses taught.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for students regarding course content and expectations.

• Ph.D. in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a closely related field.
• Experience teaching Data Structures, Theory of Algorithms, or similar core computer science courses for undergraduate students.

• Experience conducting and publishing research related to artificial intelligence.
• Ability to involve undergraduate students in research.

• Ability to interact respectfully with people from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
• Willingness and ability to participate in safety training and regulations.
