Janitor​/Cleaner

Janitor/Cleaner Wage: $17.00-$19.00/hour

5:00am-3:00pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Janitor/Cleaner for a company in Whitewater, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 1st shift.

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, including production areas, offices, break rooms, restrooms, and entryways
• Empty trash and recycling containers regularly and ensure waste receptacles do not exceed capacity
• Perform daily vacuuming of carpets and rugs
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the facility
• Spot clean doors, windows, and glass surfaces
• Clean light fixtures and perform basic maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
• Operate a floor scrubber and perform routine floor maintenance
• Support a safe and organized work environment by identifying and reporting maintenance or housekeeping concerns
• Follow all company safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures

• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to repeatedly mount and dismount a floor scrubber during daily operations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and workplace safety
• Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds consistently during the shift
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning and maintenance duties in a manufacturing setting
