IDD Group Homes - Direct Support Professional

Manchester, NJ (Ocean County)

Part Time Saturday-Sunday 4pm-8pm

The Residential Counselor supports the group home residents with daily living activities and delivers high quality services that will help consumers achieve measurable outcomes in accordance with Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRP).

• Support consumers in achieving personal care goals and addressing ongoing challenges.
• Educate consumers on medications, track logs, and conduct monthly audits.
• Coordinate services based on individual needs.
• Transport consumers using the company van as needed.
• Deliver high-quality care in line with Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRP).
• Accurately document services within required time frames using electronic health records.

• Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 6 months of direct care experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Requirements:
  Possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Skills:
  
  Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).

• Use of Company Van as needed to transport consumers.

  Hourly.
• Hiring Minimum Rate: $18.00 per hour.
• Hiring Maximum Rate: $18.75 per hour.
